What is Walking Football?
Walking football is a gentler 6-a-side version of the beautiful game. There is a focus on player safety, teamwork and - most of all - fun! Key differences include keeping the ball below head height, no tackling from the side or behind and (obviously) no running.
Whether you've never kicked a ball or are an experienced footballer, walking football is a great way to stay active and make friends.

Founded in 2022, Cardiff Ladies Walking Football Club is an independent community club run by women, for women. Our club features a diverse group of members aged between 35 and 70+ who share a passion for walking football and aim to stay active in a fun environment.
As we continue to grow each year, we're always eager to welcome new players to join our vibrant women's football community.

Our Footballing Achievements
Cardiff Ladies Walking Football has actively participated in leagues and tournaments, showcasing our skills in both local and international competitions. Over the years, we've celebrated notable successes, including winning the inaugural Chase Buchanan international tournament in Cyprus. This season, we are particularly proud to have two teams excelling in the Wales Women's Walking Football League, further promoting women's walking football in our community.
